I had the great opportunity to work with Jay at my wedding last month, and I can't tell you how amazing he is! First of all, I didn't really notice or appreciate this at first until I went to another wedding and saw how grotesque these other photographers were (armo beer belly hanging out, dirty looking clothes, a CIGARETTE BEHIND THE EAR!)...Jay and his crew were all dressed immaculately, very professional, all in coordinating,CLEAN and neat clothes! It really does make a difference...
He was totally fun to work with! We took pictures before the Church ceremony but I was pretty game for whatever he wanted me to do - The pictures came out looking like a wedding catalog. I knew he took great pictures, but I don't think of myself nor my husband as the "romantic lovey-dovey" couple, so I didn't have high hopes about the pictures looking so romantic! However they were fabulously tasteful and so romantic! But he totally catered to our personalities and we have many really fun pictures as well - jumping and running around, I even got inside a water fountain! Strange, but trust me, the end product is so marvelous I couldn't believe that it was us. He also had some really remarkable candid shots that totally expressed all of our feelings at particular moments - for example during our last dance or during the Church ceremony. I wanted to cry when I saw them. We even have a picture of my husband and I playing air guitars to "our song" by Metallica, which, come on, what bride and groom has something like that?
I guess what I can say about Jay and his crew is that not only do they bring the best out of you, your wedding party, and the environment that you are in, they made all of us look so beautiful and brought out the personalities that explain who you are! And in the end, the wedding day goes by so quickly but the pictures you have capturing your excitement, your silly moments, and the love is absolutely priceless! Thanks a million guys!!!! Abreek!
