Christine's Story: My Bridal Shower

Our wedding date, July 03, 2016, is getting closer and closer! The next big event before my wedding is my bridal shower and I couldn't be more excited! My mom is hosting my bridal shower for me and she let me choose the theme and venue. I'm really excited to see how things pan out. I'm planning on having my bridal shower in June, a month before my wedding. It will be an intimate event at The Villa in Woodland Hills. My mom, cousin, and I went to brunch there and I fell in love with the scenery. It is perfect for a bridal shower. The Privato is a private room up a gorgeous staircase with a cozy fireplace and furnished balcony. It feels like home!

As for my theme, I've always loved the movie Breakfast at Tiffany's. It's my go-to girly movie! There is just something charming about Tiffany blue. Adrine, my cousin and Maid of Honor, and I have already immersed ourselves in unique, cute ideas for the event. I'm planning on everyone wearing their favorite black dress and pearls just like Holly does when she stares into the window at Tiffany's.

My sorority sister, Carolina, owns her own business, Segoviano Cake Creations. She created the most gorgeous custom invitations for me. I can't wait to hand them out. Is it too soon now!?
