Talar's Story: Choosing a Photographer
When it came to choosing a photographer, we knew the options were plenty. We had seen so many beautiful photos all over Instagram and Facebook. So we visited the Harsanik.com directory and started e-mailing photographers for quotes and requests for meetings. The roadblock we hit almost immediately was the costs. Most photographers offered packages, which included engagement photos, wedding day photos, videos, and all sorts of extras, which ultimately raised their prices. We saw prices that ranged between $6,000 and $13,000.

To compare, I simply Googled “top Los Angeles” wedding photographers. On that list was Lark Wedding Photography owned by photographer, Christine. Her cover photo was the wedding shot of an Armenian Couple that we knew. So we reached out to the couple and they gave Christine and her crew high reviews. One of the greatest features of Lark Wedding Photography was that all of her costs were right on her website. Her most common wedding day package included three photographers, a videographer, and either a photo booth on the day of or engagement photos… a total of $5,050.
Although we had saved some money, we did have other concerns. Planning an Armenian wedding, and capturing it all includes tons of detail. Because Christine had shot many Armenian weddings, she is aware of all of the slightest yet most important events. She took down all the details of our wedding, and even helped us choose where to take our day of wedding photos.

We look forward to working with Christine and her staff on our wedding day. We are extremely excited about all of the photos from the photo booth!
